Khuda Ke Liye is the story of two brothers, Mansoor and Sarmad, in Pakistan who are torn apart by their opposing values – one an extremist, the other a liberal.

Their cousin Mary arrives from London only to discover that she has been sent by her father to avoid her marrying her Non-Muslim boyfriend Dave. The story unfolds as Mansoor leaves for Chicago to enrol at the “School of Music”, and Sarmad turns to extremism. In an epic that switches from London to Lahore to Waziristan to Nangahar Afghanistan to Chicago, these ordinary Pakistanis are increasingly faced with both internal and external conflict.
