Kuch Sapney Apne

Kuch Sapney Apne is a sensitive heartwarming film about a loving gay couple in Mumbai and their struggles; as well as family members back home in a small town who are faced with new challenges, that forces everyone to redefine their relationships. Join us for a Q&A with director Sridhar Rangayan and producer Pragyesh Kumar Singh.

Kartik and Aman’s relationship is tested when one of them has a fling which leads to a domestic quarrel. Kartik’s parents’ relationship breaks apart when Damodar and Vasudha have a tiff. Kuch Sapney Apne, a sequel to the highly successful Evening Shadows (winner of twenty-seven international awards, screened at eighty-two film festivals), is a sensitive heartwarming film about relationships, queer or not, and what happens when connections are challenged by uncomfortable truths. The film highlights the struggles about this gay couple in Mumbai as their family members back home in a small-town face with new challenges, that forces everyone to redefine their relationships. Will they stand the test of time?
