Tongues on Fire is now accepting Feature Film and Documentary film submissions for 2020. The films will be watched by our curators and selected to be a part of our March and April 2020 programme.
The films will be judged based on their narrative, structure, cinematography and post-production techniques.
Open to all but must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Criteria
The producers of the film i.e actors/director must be South Asian or have a South Asian connection. (South Asia -India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal).
Submissions must adhere to the theme Uprooted, and can belong to the following categories: Fiction, Documentary or Experimental
Uprooted as defined by Oxford English Dictionary can be one of the following:
Move from their home or a familiar location
Example migration.
Or
‘Remove or destroy completely; eradicate.’
Example a new social order or identity.
You can interpret it as you wish.
So if you have a story to tell, we want to see it!
