DATES ANNOUNCED - UK ASIAN FILM FESTIVAL 2024 IS OPEN FOR SUBMISSIONS!!!
Join us Thursday 2 May - Sunday 12 May, 2024 to celebrate the richness of South Asian Cinema & Arts in venues across London, Leicester and Glasgow. We will be showcasing ground-breaking cinema and bringing artists and filmmakers from South Asia to the longest running South Asian Film Festival outside India.
Our theme for this year is ‘Climate of Change’ and will explore three key dimensions:
• Courage: fearless stories that examine how historical and current conditioning affects people and why it’s the right time to do, or die.
• Love: power of cinema enabling artists to connect with people, to embed ideas that give birth to a symphony of responsible action towards our environment.
• Action: examining the authenticity of change, its impact on harmony and contentment, and its influence to continue to shape our landscape.
With the unveiling of the 26 edition of UK Asian Film Festival theme, we invite filmmakers, artists, and creators to envision a world where change is more than a whisper – it’s a resounding force!
We are accepting feature films, short films, long shorts and documentaries for the festival.
