Goodness Gracious Me

As Tongues on Fire - UK Asian Film Festival and Goodness Gracious Me turn 25 in 2023; we come together to ‘Celebrate our Stories - of shared identity, culture and future’.

Come join us with the special screening of one of the most loved comedy episodes ‘Going for an English’ of the television series.

The Goodness Gracious Me series distinctively integrated Indian and British cultures through sketch comedy. The satires, musicals and skits played a pivotal role representing South Asian stories globally.

The screening will be followed by Q&A and discussion with cast members Nina Wadia, Kulvinder Ghir, and show writer Sanjeev Kohli, moderated by Jassa Ahluwalia
