My Melbourne + Intro & Q&A

Four Stories. Four Journeys. One Unmissable Film. A powerful anthology film exploring identity, belonging, and resilience, My Melbourne brings together four diverse narratives based on true events. Under the mentorship of legendary Indian directors—Onir, Rima Das, Imtiaz Ali, and Kabir Khan—emerging storytellers shed light on the lived experiences of underrepresented voices in Australia.

From a queer man’s emotional reunion with his estranged father (Indraneel), to a deaf dancer fighting for her dreams (Emma), a food blogger forging an unlikely bond with a homeless poet (Jules), and a refugee girl finding hope through cricket (Setara), My Melbourne is a deeply moving, bold celebration of diversity.
