Mystic Mela: Yoga & Breathwork

Mystic Mela: A day of activities and film screenings at the Beck Theatre brought to you by the UK Asian Film Festival

Take time to experience an Iyengar Yoga class emphasizing on precision and alignment.  Rooting down to rise up with focus, modification for all levels and complete beginners to improve posture, reduce pain, enhance flexibiity and build strength.

Neeta is an Iyengar Yoga teacher and feels blessed to have being taught by some of the most senior teachers under BKS Iyengar.  She is also a Kundalini Yoga teacher, teaches iRest Yoga Nidra, Yin, Restorative and therapeutic Yoga for chronic pain and other ailments.

At 36, she had major spinal surgery.  At 38 Yoga found her when she was at her lowest physically, mentally and emotionally.  Her experience of pain management, emotional and mental challenges of life, living with pain and all the domino effects that follow allows her to provide the tools and understanding to overcome obstacles at various stages in our life.

26 years later she’s continues to share her knowledge and experience. Her Yoga experience, combined with her medical knowledge, other areas of holistic well being has further developed her capacity to understand the need of her students and clients in order to help them implement their practice, breathe correctly and effectively  to cure what can be cured and endure what cannot be cured. Neeta also organises private retreats in Greece, India and Spain annually.
