Growing up, giving back was always a core part of life for filmmaker Manny Singh. This lifelong commitment to charity and community work led him to embark on a deeply moving journey into the heart of one of Asia’s largest slums in Mumbai. Through United for Change, Manny and his team documented the incredible resilience of the people they met—children, parents, teachers, and school principals—and the profound impact that access to education and basic facilities can have on their futures. The film was made possible through the collaborative efforts of Raj, who meticulously edited the piece, and Krystian, who worked alongside Manny in shooting the film.
This bike ride from Mumbai to Goa was due to the kindness of volunteers from various charities and individuals who did this difficult journey for the charities One Kind Act , Your One Wish and Yuva Unstoppable changing lives and futures.
